Does the fare include tolls and GST?
Yes, both. Tolls on your route and GST are already inside the number you see. There is nothing added for either after the ride.
What if traffic is bad, or the driver has to detour?
Nothing changes. Once the fare is locked, ME CABS carries the cost of a slow run — roadworks on the Tullamarine, a closure on Punt Road, a game emptying out of the 'G. The price you agreed is the price you pay.
Why does an airport pickup sometimes cost more?
Curbside pickup is free. If you would rather your driver met you inside the terminal, that adds a parking fee — and the estimator puts it into the quote before you book, so the total you see is still the total you pay.
Do I need a card to book?
No. Nothing is taken up front and nothing is charged until the ride is over. ME CABS accepts Cabcharge and all major cards.
Can I book a wheelchair-accessible taxi, and do you accept MPTP?
Yes to both. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are WAT-certified with ramp access and drivers trained to use them, and they are quoted alongside the rest of the fleet in the estimator above. ME CABS accepts MPTP.
