You'll receive an email confirmation with the driver's name, vehicle, and meet-and-greet location at MEL arrivals before you board.

Fixed fares from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to the CBD start from around A$102 in a Flex hybrid sedan, A$114 in a Plus SUV, and A$122 in a 9-seater Group. The fare is locked at the moment of booking — no surge pricing, no traffic surcharge, no card fee on Cabcharge. Off-peak the run is 33 minutes; weekday morning peak is 48-58 minutes.

Yes. Every airport pickup is flight-tracked at no extra charge. Add your flight number to the booking. If your flight arrives early or late — including international flights with Border Force / Customs delays — the pickup time adjusts automatically. The driver waits at arrivals through the queue, with no clock starting on the meter.

Standard meet-and-greet is at the international arrivals hall (Terminal 2) for international flights, or the relevant domestic terminal (T1, T3, T4) for domestic. Driver holds a sign with your name. SMS confirmation lands when the driver is on-site so you can call directly if you prefer kerb-side pickup at the express pickup zone instead.

All major international cards accepted — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay. Charges are processed in AUD at the time of trip completion; your card issuer handles the conversion at their daily rate. Receipt emailed automatically post-trip for expense reporting. Cabcharge and corporate accounts also accepted.

Flight tracking handles short delays automatically. For longer delays (3+ hours) the driver re-confirms the pickup with the dispatch on 1300 012 018. We don't charge extra for waiting time on a flight-tracked booking. You'll get an SMS update on the new pickup ETA.

All ME CABS drivers are English-fluent. Many also speak a second language — common ones in our fleet include Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Vietnamese. If you'd prefer a specific language driver, note it in the booking comments and the dispatch will match where possible.
